I am unable to link my tickets to the Disney experience… is there a waiting period?

Hi Melissa, and welcome to planDisney!

Oh, no! I'm so sorry you're having trouble linking your tickets. That just won't do at all, will it? With your Walt Disney World Resort vacation getting so close, we definitely need to get your plans back on track. Let's see what we can do!

You should be able to link your tickets right after you purchase them, so I'm not sure what's going wrong. If you purchased your tickets directly from the Walt Disney World website, they may have "auto-magically" linked to your account, so we'll check there first. Head over to the home page and click on "Sign In or Create Account," and follow the prompts to log in. Next, look for the "My Disney Experience" logo to the right of the menu bar and click there to access your plans. Scroll down to "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets," then click on the "Tickets & Memory Maker" tab. Hopefully, we get a little bit of pixie dust and your tickets are right there where they belong. In that case, you're all set!

Now, if your tickets aren't showing up, we do need to try to link them. Hop on over to the "Link Your Reservations and Purchases" page on the Walt Disney World website and select "Tickets." On the next page, you'll see a box where you can enter the ID number on the ticket. If you can't find the correct number, you'll see several different examples of ticket cards and order confirmation messages that highlight the number you need to use. You should find your ticket among those examples. If you're not seeing it, or the number still won't work, you'll want to give Guest Relations a call at the number listed for Website Support as soon as you can so a Cast Member can help you get those tickets linked and ready to go.

Melissa, don't forget that once you get your tickets linked, you'll also need to make Disney Park Pass theme park reservations for the park you plan to visit each day. Once you've done that, you're all set for the fun to begin!

Your vacation will be here before you know it, Melissa, and I have my fingers crossed that this helps you get your tickets all squared away. Thank you so much for stopping by to see us, and I hope you have a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
