Hello there, Jaime, thank you for consulting planDisney with this excellent question!
My Disney Experience mobile app is very helpful, and I found that the app worked best on my mobile devices, including my Apple Watch when all updates were complete, and when I enabled automatic updates to allow the app to add new features. As well, the minimum device requirement for iOS devices is iOS 13 and above, so please ensure that your mobile devices meet that requirement. The key to adding your Walt Disney World Resort theme park admission to your Apple Wallet is to do so via the
Disney MagicMobile Service to create a Disney MagicMobile pass found within the My Disney Experience mobile app.
Here is how to add your Walt Disney World Resort theme park admission to your Apple Wallet via Disney MagicMobile Service in the My Disney Experience mobile app:
1. From the My Disney Experience “Home Page,” tap on the three short lines on the bottom right which will lead to the “Welcome Page.”
2. On the “Welcome Page” you will see “Disney MagicMobile” please open that link.
3. On the “Your Passes” page look for the “+” symbol on the top right and tap.
4. The next page will read, “Who’s Getting a Pass?” Look for the “Add to Apple Wallet” button and tap that to begin the process of either scanning the barcode, or manually inputting the ID number. Please repeat this process for each theme park ticket
5. From this point, your ticket/s will appear in your Apple Wallet.
The app recommends that those in your travel party with access to a mobile device create their own My Disney Experience account and then create a Disney MagicMobile pass on their own device. You can still create a Disney MagicMobile pass for those in your
Family & Friends & list if you wish.
Jaime, when you add a payment method to your My Disney Experience app you will be able to use the
Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering option in the app. As well, in the app, you will find
Direct-To-Room Service, where you will be able to unlock your Disney Resort hotel Guest Room door by completing your Resort Online Check-In first. It's a handy little app and quite useful during your visit.
I hope that this information helps you out, Jaime, and I wish you a magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort - thank you so much!
