Welcome Deborah!
Thanks for stopping by and visiting us at planDisney, we’re so happy to hEAR from you. I would first like to begin with saying “Thank you!” From my military family to yours. I’m so excited to see that you are already planning for your upcoming visit. I’m even more excited to hEAR that you will be using the
specially priced theme park tickets for U.S. military members.
You should have received an exchange certificate from your participating U.S. military base ticket office after purchasing your ticket(s). You will want to treat this exchange certificate, as your actual ticket. You are able to scan the barcode that’s listed on the back, or type in the combination, listed at the bottom of the barcode, to your
My Disney Experience account. When I added my ticket, using the
My Disney Experience mobile app, it also gave me an error message. After a quick app update it worked just fine! I recommend trying to scan the barcode using the mobile app or try manual typing it in, on the
official website.
If none of these solutions work, when trying to upload your exchange certificate, I recommend giving the
Walt Disney World Resort existing tickets line a call. A Cast Member there will be able to use the Force and help link your ticket(s) to your account for you. Once your ticket(s) have been linked, you will be on your way and be able to make your park reservations using the
Disney Park Pass system!
Deborah, I hope this helps. I know pretty soon you will be submerged in all the planning details like dining reservations, selecting a
Disney Resort hotel to stay at, and creating your “must-dos” list! If you need any other recommendations, we all have plenty of our favorites to try, so just let us know!
May the Force be with you.
