    I am unable to go and there was one other person in my party. My question is if I’m not there will the other person in my party be able to still check into the hotel and park

     Welcome to planDisney, Ben. I'm so glad you stopped by! Let's chat about your plans to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. 

     I'm sorry to hear that you're unable to join your party for your upcoming Disney vacation. As Winnie the Pooh would say, "Oh, bother!" To answer your question, if the other member of your party is listed on the Disney Resort hotel reservation and they have valid theme park admission, they can still check-in at the hotel and enter the theme parks. I'm sure they'll miss you on their pixie-dusted adventures!

     I encourage you to call the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line to remove yourself from the reservation. You can also chat with a friendly Cast Member about using your tickets another time. Fortunately, wholly unused Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets always retain their value!
