When it comes to
Disney Genie+ Service at the Walt Disney World Resort, you’re able to purchase the Service beginning at 12:00 a.m. of the day to you want the Service. If you are trying to purchase Genie+ days before you go to the Theme Parks, this could be one of the reasons you’re getting the error messages. At this time, you must purchase the Service the day you’re using the Service.
Now, if you’re trying to purchase Genie+ on the same day as your Theme Park reservation, you’ll want to confirm that everyone in your party has a Theme Park
ticket and
Disney Park Pass reservation for that day. To do this, from the home screen of the
My Disney Experience mobile app, under the Disney Genie Service banner on the home page, select “View My Day”. On the next screen you should see your Disney Park Pass reservation, once selected, hopefully, you see all your party members.
If you confirm the above, and you’re still not able to purchase Disney Genie+, definitely connect with the
My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+ help desk. If you’re in the Theme Park already, you can also talk to the
Guest Experience Team throughout the Parks, just look for the blue umbrellas!
