Hey Nicole-
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Get ready for a night of fun, games and fantastic food. Polynesian style, of course! The
'Ohana dinner menu for the evening is the same for both children and adults. The only difference is dessert. You will be served family style, just like they do on the islands, which means food will come out in courses with the ability to request more of everything even after a particular course is finished. If you are in the middle of dessert and want more appetizer, no problem, just ask.
The menu contains some of these classic dishes transformed Disney style to suit palates from every continent. First course: Ohana pineapple coconut bread, mixed green salad, pork dumplings and honey chicken wings. Main course: skewer meats including sweet/sour chicken and sirloin steak. Also served to you table of hungry adventurers are spicy grilled peel & eat shrimp, teriyaki noodles tossed with veggies and stir fried veggies. Dessert: adults will dine on ‘Ohana bread pudding w and banana-caramel sauce while kids bury their faces in a brownie with marshmallow and M&M topping.
Disney Dad Tip: Encourage to kids to get up and play the games that occur during the dinner like the coconut races in which children armed with brooms sweep coconuts across the restaurant’s hardwood floors and the hula hoop dancing. They will never forget those memories and your camera is sure to capture some smiles.
Nicole, enjoy making many Delicious and Magical Memories!
