    I am unable to find out how to link Genie Plus and Lightening lane to my purchased tickets. I have tried the app and on this site. On this site I just get the option to buy park passes which I already have. App doesn't give options described here

    It looks like you'll be kicking off 2022 with a Walt Disney World adventure. What a perfect way to start the New Year! Now that you've already purchased tickets (and hopefully made theme park reservations), let's talk Genie+.

    To add this new feature in advance, try logging into the My Disney Experience mobile app one more time. On the opening page, touch the three lines in the bottom right-hand corner, and on the next screen, select "Tickets and Passes." Select one of the tickets and choose the option to "Change" the ticket. Follow the prompts to add Disney Genie+ and repeat the steps with each ticket. 

    If the above process doesn't work, Hakuna Matata! Some tickets can't be modified in advance, but you can still purchase Genie+, starting at midnight each day of your visit. I actually prefer this method since you don't have to add Genie+ for the duration of your ticket, and buying it one day at a time is simple and will save you money if you don't anticipate using it every day of your vacation. 

    On a day you would like to purchase Genie+, open the My Disney Experience Mobile App and click on those three small horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of the main page to bring up the welcome screen. Next, select the magic lamp icon that says "My Day." Find a purple bar that says "Get Genie+ Service," then follow the prompts to select your party members and finalize payment. You can do this as early as midnight of the day you'd like to purchase Genie+, but since you can't make your first Lightning Lane selection until 7 AM, I suggest taking care of this over breakfast before heading out for the day. A few of my panelist pals and I are going to the Magic Kingdom Park next week, and we each have tickets that can't be modified (a Military Promotional Ticket, an Annual Pass, and an old, unexpired ticket). If we decide to purchase Genie+, we'll do so on the morning of our visit, just before 7 AM.
