Eric from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We were unable to use our CA Resident tickets due to a medical issue that came up. We paid around $650 for our tickets, so are we just at a loss or are we able to get new tickets or get refunded?

    Good day, Eric!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so very much for bringing your question our way!

The California Resident Ticket offer was so wonderful that I took advantage of it! I’m delighted to hear that you purchased tickets as well when the offer was available over the summer!

I’m sorry to hear you were unable to use the tickets due to a medical issue, but I have good news for you! Even though your tickets are expired there is no need to worry! That’s because according to eTicket Terms & Conditions, unless otherwise stated, the amount paid for any wholly unused, expired Disneyland Resort theme park ticket (with the exception of Special Event Tickets) may be applied towards the purchase of a new theme park admission ticket at the current price. The new ticket purchase price must be equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket. So, when you’re ready to visit, simply go to a Main Entrance ticket booth and, ask a Cast Member to apply your eligible ticket amount towards a new ticket purchase.

I hope you enjoy your time at “The Happiest Place on Earth!” whenever you decide to go!
