Unable to book a evening resturant in advance on date we are going to Epcot as all full. Is there likely to be any space on the actual day from no shows, etc ?

    Hi Nick!

I am very sorry to read that you could not get a dining reservation.  You didn't say when you are going, but the chances of walking up and getting a seat without a reservation is very low, especially during a busy time of the year.  However, it does happen.  If the weather is poor then your chances go up significantly.  I suggest stopping by when you are ready to eat and just asking the Cast Member out front.

Another option would be to leave Epcot.  It is very easy to go out the International Gateway entrance of Epcot, between the United Kingdom and France pavilions, and visit the restaurants on Crescent Lake.  Crescent Lake is the body of water between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.  There are a lot of places to dine there.  Besides the restaurants on the Boardwalk, there are also restaurants at the Beach Club, Yacht Club, Walt Disney World Swan, and Walt Disney World Dolphin hotels.  One of my favorite places is the Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club; they have a great seafood buffet.  Also, in my opinion, the best steak on Walt Disney World property is at the Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club.  There are definitely a lot of great places to dine right outside Epcot's back door!

Good luck and have a magical vacation!
