I am unable to book an appointment at the BBB, so it was recommended that I purchase a princess dress at Sir Mickey's. Is this correct and does Sir Mickey's have a good selection of princess dresses?

    Hiya Cynthia!

Welcome to planDisney! When in Magic Kingdom Park, there is nothing like having your little one walk down Main Street, U.S.A. in a princess costume. It's a magical moment that will be remembered forever!

Sir Mickey's located right near the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom Park is a great place to find princess dresses and accessories in the Parks. They have all of the popular princess dresses and accessories that any little one would love to wear. I was just there two weeks ago and found the selection to include dresses for Queen Elsa, Princess Anna, Princess Rapunzel, Princess Tiana, Princess Cinderella, Princess Ariel, Princess Jasmine, and more! Now, selection can vary by the time you arrive but there were so many choices along with gorgeous tiaras, jewelry sets, and even small plushies. There is even a smaller selection of prince items including costumes, shields, and foam swords.

If you cannot secure a reservation right now for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique but want to I suggest you keep looking! Reservations pop up all the time as people change their plans. At this time there is no fee if guests cancel their reservation at least 24 hours before their scheduled time. Sometimes I get lucky finding a spot right around that 24-hour mark as people realize they can't make it but don't want that cancellation fee. On my last trip, I found that there were quite a few walk-up appointments available! In fact, a sign was noted right in front of the boutique letting guests know and I was shocked! I spoke to a Fairy Godmother Apprentice who told me that if you arrive at the boutique right at opening on the day you wish to visit they will have time slots available for guests throughout the day. She stated that it's not guaranteed but there is a good chance you can secure one if you do what I said. If this doesn't work out or you don't want the stress of a last-minute reservation then Sir Mickey's is the way to go.

Don't forget to ask for some pixie dust as there are Fairy Godmother Apprentices and Cast Members who have access to this special magic. They can give anyone a little sprinkle of some magic!

Think happy thoughts and have a magical time!

    Happy Planning!
