    I am unable to get an advanced dining reservation for Chef Mickey's while we are in Disney. It is the only place my son has asked to go. Is there any way or any one who might be able to help us get a reservation?

    Hello, Nadene!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

    I really wish we had some sort of pull in order to make your son's wish come true.   Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to make this happen.  However, I would highly recommend two options.  First, I would continue calling (407)WDW-DINE on a daily basis to see if there have been any cancellations.  I know this can be just one more thing to add to your "to-do list", but it is well worth the time.  I have been lucky on numerous occasions in the past.  Another option is to simply to show-up at Chef Mickey's and ask for a table.  I have also been lucky doing this as well.  When my family and I have shown-up in the very early morning hours, we have always been able to secure a table.  Many of our guests make early morning dining reservations with the intent partying with Mickey & the Gang, but the constant "go" of Walt Disney World leaves them  wanting to sleep-in.  Dinner time has never been a good time to just pop-in in my past experience.  Of course with all this being said, I cannot guarantee that you will be able to dine at Chef Mickey's for this family visit.  Just make sure to put this high on your list with your next visit since you may begin setting your reservations 180 days prior to your arrival.
