I am unable to add my magic pass to my phone after changing devices. I get the following message. ‘Apple Pay services and currently unavailable’ However Apple Pay works fine with other apps. Does anyone have a solution?

    Hello Gary,

As the current UK-based planDisney Panelist, it's so very nice to welcome a fellow British Guest here to our pixie-dusted spot!

During my next holiday to Walt Disney World Resort, I'm so looking forward to having the contactless convenience of using both my Apple iPhone and Watch with the Disney MagicMobile service.

With all the elements of a Disney holiday package linked to My Disney Experience, Disney MagicMobile should make it even easier to enter the Disney Theme Parks, link Disney PhotoPass photos, and even charge select purchases back to your Disney Resorts Collection hotel room folio.

I'm sorry to hear that you've had a technical glitch and have been unable to add your Magic Ticket to your phone since changing devices.  As I'm unable to access your My Disney Experience account, it is a little tricky for me to understand exactly why you've been seeing the message "Apple Pay services are currently unavailable".

However, what I do know for sure is that to enable Disney MagicMobile to function properly, Guests are required to ensure they have an eligible iPhone, Apple Watch, or Android smart device with Bluetooth technology enabled for the My Disney Experience Mobile App.  Plus, your smart device must also be compatible with either Apple Wallet or Google Pay.

Additionally, at present the minimum device requirements are -

     - iOS devices: Requires iOS 14.4 and later
     - Apple Watch devices: Requires iOS 7.3 and later
     - Android devices: Requires 8.0 and later

Gary, as your holiday to Walt Disney World Resort is approaching soon in early April, my best suggestion would be for you to seek the tech-savvy advice of Cast Members who will be able to both access your My Disney Experience account, and where possible, be able to assist with setting up Disney MagicMobile.

To connect with a Cast Member, simply dial the UK freephone number for Technical and Website Support contained within this Walt Disney World Resort Phone Directory.

I hope that I've been able to offer a little zip-a-dee-doo-dah insight for you today Gary.  If you should have any further last-minute questions concerning your upcoming Disney holiday, then please do pop back to me here at planDisney.

Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
