    Are you unable to add dinning plans to 2023 reservations?

    Hi Scott,

    Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your Walt Disney World vacation planning question.  I am happy to help you today!

    There have been many exciting announcements from Walt Disney World this year, and one of the most popular announcements has been about the return of the Disney Dining Plan and the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan beginning for stays starting January 9, 2024.  Unfortunately, at this time the Disney Dining Plans are not available for vacation packages with arrivals before this date.

    Scott, I love the convenience of the Disney Dining Plan for the simple fact that I can have the majority of my family's food "prepaid" by purchasing a Disney Dining Plan.  However, until the time of their return my family likes to purchase Disney Gift Cards to use for our food purchases.  Not only is this convenient, but as the official vacation planner in my family, it also helps me to keep track of my family's food budget.
