Hi there, Loren! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question.
The weather at the Disneyland Resort is nearly perfect almost all year long, but there are the occasional rainy days. You can most certainly bring umbrellas into the parks to keep dry. And if it is forecasted to pour, I suggest bringing along a rain poncho as well. Most attractions will continue to run during the rain, so definitely don’t let a few sprinkles alter your plans. In fact, rainy days can sometimes mean low crowds which will allow you to pack even more magic into your day. Use the
Disneyland app to navigate the parks efficiently. It will tell you if an attraction is closed temporarily due to weather so be sure to check before park hopping or walking to another area of the park.
Along with your umbrella, you might want to pack some snacks and perhaps a change of socks/shoes or clothes in case you get soaked.
Rent a locker to store your dry clothes in so you can make the change if the sun comes out later in the day. Finally, another fun way to dry out is to hop into one of the dryers located by
Grizzly River Run. For a small fee, you and a few friends can dry out and warm up after a rain storm or a ride through the raging rapids.
I hope this helps. Have a delightful time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
