Should I take an umbrella stroller or the larger more comfortable stroller for a 4 year old? Our trip is planned for 9/15/2010 through 9/21/2010.

Hello Loretta and welcome!  I have to give you my honest opinion on this matter because I feel it is very important advice.  Your child's comfort level will determine your day.  Trust me, the memories are still fresh on my mind and my boys are now between the ages of 8 and 14.  The umbrella stroller does not seem to help a child who will be up early and working well into the evening.  The naps did not happen as often with the umbrella stroller and my husband and I were dealing with very unhappy and tired children.  We made that mistake once and never did it again.  Our larger and more comfortable stroller allowed our children to recline and nap many times throughout the day.  We had happy children and were able to close down the parks because they felt rested.  I know your comfort level of having to deal with a larger stroller will not be great, but just keep thinking about a tired child in a crowded park.  I would definitely choose the large stroller.  Comfort! Naps! Happy Child! Happy Parents!  Have a magical day!
