    Hi from UK We have Magic Bands from our last visit in February 2020, how can we tell if they will work, we in November 22. Guests who are able to pre order are given a discount, if we have to buy new Magic Bands when we arrive will we get the same discount

    I'm excited to hEAR that you'll be visiting in November - it's going to be a magical trip! You'll be able to experience all that the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration has to offer, plus the amazing winter holiday decorations and treats! Win-win! During your visit, be sure to check out my favorite new attraction, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT - it's a blast!

    The official word from Disney is that our MagicBands should last for a minimum of two years. I've personally never had a MagicBand stop functioning, which means I have some that are probably about five years old or older. So, I think the MagicBands from your previous trip should work just fine, but unfortunately, there is no way to test this before arriving at Walt Disney World Resort.

    The brand new MagicBand+ did recently launch, and if you're interested in upgrading to these fully immersive, rechargeable bands, they will be available for purchase at many locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort upon your arrival. Unfortunately, at this time Guests from the U.K. are not eligible to order discounted pre-arrival MagicBands, and this discount is not available for purchases made in person at Walt Disney World Resort.
