Hi Krystle! Welcome to planDisney!
You have come to the perfect place to get answers to all your Disney questions! You must be so excited to spend time at the
Most Magical Place on Earth with your family from overseas. I can't think of a better meeting point than Walt Disney World.
One of the biggest perks for Guests visiting from the United Kingdom is the type of park tickets available to them. Disney Magic Tickets are available as a 14-day ticket, which is longer than any multi-day ticket sold here in the United States. I spoke to a Cast Member earlier today, and they confirmed that if your family purchases a Magic Ticket for you while in the UK, then you will be able to use it during your stay. They will need to add you to their
My Disney Experience account and assign the ticket to you. Then, when you arrive onsite, you'll be able to join them for your park days!
Krystle, with so many days to visit the parks, I suggest taking a slower pace and really trying to enjoy your time there. The weather in August will still be pretty hot most days, so taking breaks throughout each one will be much needed. My family usually likes to get to the parks early and try to ride a few attractions in the morning before heading back to our resort for some leisurely time. Then, we'll either return to the park we started our day at or park hop to a different one to close out the night.
With the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration ongoing, you will get to take part in the continuous festivities that are taking place. Make sure to carve out some time during your stay to see
Disney Enchantment and Harmonious! These two nighttime spectaculars are absolutely magical and worth sticking around for at night. Stake out a good spot between Main Street, U.S.A. and Cinderella Castle for Disney Enchantment, while most areas around the World Showcase will be great to view
Harmonious.
Krystle, I hope you have an amazing time during your upcoming stay! Have the best time being a part of the magic with your family!
See ya real soon!
