Hello Beth,
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question. Your holiday is just a few weeks away! I hope you can spend more than one day exploring all the wonderful things in store for you this time of year at
Walt Disney World Resort. You will want to take a spin around World Showcase during the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival presented by CORKCICLE®. Everything will be in full swing when you arrive in September!
The Global Marketplace menus have been announced with some tempting items. I can’t wait to indulge in the Griddled Cheese with Pistachios and Honey at the Greece Global Marketplace. I enjoyed it so much last year and am excited it has returned this year!
Ok, Beth, let’s get your question answered! As you’ve noted, you need to be in the United States to purchase a 1-day ticket. When I check the
US-based Walt Disney World website, I see that a 1-day Park Hopper ticket for an adult (ages 10+) for September 7, 2023, is currently priced at $184 plus tax, for a total of $196. (Prices are subject to change.) At this time, the online ticket admission price for tickets fewer than three days is the same price at the ticket booth locations at each of the theme parks or at the
Disney Ticket Center at
Disney Springs.
Beth, I highly recommend purchasing your 1-day ticket as soon as you arrive in the United States. You can easily do this using the
My Disney Experience app. You also have the option of purchasing your ticket on the
US-based Walt Disney World Resort website (www.DisneyWorld.Disney.go.com). Either option will save you time since you won’t have to wait in line. Plus, if you purchase
Disney Genie+ Service for the day of your visit, you will be able to make your first attraction selection at 7:00 a.m. using the app. You can be on your way and start your day without a hitch!
If you need assistance with the My Disney Experience app or with Disney Genie+ Service, please
write back and let me know. I’m happy to explain how these services can help you make the most of your holiday!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
