We are from the UK and staying at POFQ 25 OCT - 12 NOV. My daughter is lactose intolerant and cannot digest cows milk. Can you please advise if lactose free milk is available in the resort for breakfast cereals and hot drinks.

    Hi Joanne,

Walt Disney World is one of the easiest places to travel if you have a food allergy or special dietary request.  Lactose intolerance is considered a common food allergy at Walt Disney World, so most restaurants should be able to accommodate you.  I know you can almost always find soy milk, but you should also be able to find lactose free milk as well.  If you don't see it, ask.  If they don't have it on the first day, it's been my experience that cast members will make sure they have it on hand for the following days of your vacation.

You can email Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com at least 14 days prior to your arrival and let them know of your dietary needs.  They can notify the resort where you are staying, so the products you need will be available when you arrive.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
