We are from the UK & staying in a 2 bed villa at BLT in Oct. We like to drink tea, is there a kettle in the kitchen? Also we will not be using a car but plan to have breakfast in the room, can you buy basic foods in the resort like bread, milk, butter,

    Hi Amanda,

There certainly is a teapot/kettle in the kitchen of all Disney Vacation Club Villas.  I would probably recommend bringing your own tea as our tea in the States is usually not as good as yours is!  There is a the Fantasia Market at the Contemporary that you can go to that will have basic necessities such as milk, butter, bread, pasta, eggs, bacon. There is also frozen foods and cereals and lots of snacks.  We always buy items for breakfast to save time and money.  This makes our mornings easier since our children  always tend to be starving in the morning!  If you are a DVC Member, you can take advantage of ordering groceries that will be delivered to your room on the date of check-in after 5 pm to save you time.

You will love staying at Disney's Bay Lake Towers.  Located right on the Monorail, this wonderful resort is connected to the Contemporary that has fantastic restaurants such as Chef Mickey's and The Wave.  Be sure to check out the Bay Cove Pool that overlooks Bay Lake and has a great water slide that kids of all ages will love going again and again.  You will have easy access via the Monorail to Magic Kingdom and Epcot which certainly comes in handy after a long day at the parks.  You can even soak up the sun on the white-sand beach of Bay Lake for the ultimate relaxing day.  Whatever you love doing, Bay Lake Towers has it all, and I am so happy you are staying there.  Please send me a follow up question if I can help you further, Amanda.  Have a magical holiday!
