Welcome to planDisney, Christopher!
Planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be overwhelming, right? We get it! This is why
planDisney exists. We're here to help fellow Guests with their questions and to share our collective experience and knowledge. So you've come to the right place.
The
Disability Access Service (DAS) is one of the many wonderful accommodations for
Guests with Disabilities at Walt Disney World Resort. It's also complimentary for qualifying Guests! However, unfortunately, as a UK-based Guest, you're not able to register for this service pre-arrival, Christopher. However, you'll be pleased to know that it's really easy to register for DAS once you get to Walt Disney World.
Once you enter your first Theme Park, simply stop by
Guest Relations. You'll find a friendly Cast Member who will talk through your particular needs and, if appropriate, be able to complete the registration process for you. You'll then have DAS for the next 60 days. Hakuna Matata! It means no worries, for the rest of your stay!
On a previous trip of mine, my friend was able to take advantage of DAS and I was so impressed. It really helped maximize their joy at the theme parks.
I hope that's helpful, Christopher. I'm sure you're going to have a truly wonderful time.
TTFN, ta-ta for now.
Mike
