Hi Kim, welcome to planDisney!
My visits to
Walt Disney World Resort typically range from three to seven days. It's hard for me to fathom the amount of magic you'll be able to experience during a 21-day stay, but you've definitely set my course for a new dream! There's truly more to see than can ever be seen at Walt Disney World, but with a 14-day ticket you'll be able to experience each of the four theme parks multiple times, re-ride your favorite attractions, explore a range of snack and dining options, and catch
Disney Enchantment and
Harmonious from a variety of angles. Your Fairy Godmother's been working overtime, for sure!
14-day Disney Magic Tickets, which are offered exclusively in the UK and Ireland, include admission to the Disney Water Parks. I fully support a visit to
Typhoon Lagoon on at least one of your 21 days, Kim. Splashing around in the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool and floating around Castaway Creek are great ways to beat the Florida heat and humidity in August. Valid admission is required, which means a visit to a water park will count as one of your 14 days, but that doesn't mean you can't visit a theme park that day, too! Your Disney Magic Tickets also allow you to park hop, meaning you can visit any combination of theme parks and water parks each day. We don't know when Blizzard Beach will reopen after being closed for refurbishment, but that still leaves you plenty of options for your park days.
For example, let's say you arrive at Typhoon Lagoon in the morning, stay through lunch, return to your hotel for a shower and some downtime, and do dinner and fireworks at Magic Kingdom park. The water parks do not require theme park reservations but you will need a theme park reservation for Magic Kingdom park that day. If after dinner you decide to take the monorail over to EPCOT to watch Harmonious instead, you can totally do that, too. The World is your oyster, just make sure you have a
theme park reservation for the first theme park (Magic Kingdom park, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, or Disney's Animal Kingdom park) you plan to enter each day. You can park hop any time after 2:00 p.m.
If you really want to use your 14-day tickets exclusively for the theme parks, Kim, you are welcome to purchase an additional 1-day ticket with the Water Park and Sports Option once you are in the United States on
Disneyworld.disney.go.com. Since theme park reservations are not required for Typhoon Lagoon, you could even purchase them at the park entrance. But before making an additional investment, I hope you'll consider how much magic you already have in hand. Your cup of magic runneth over!
Let's continue this planning dialogue, Kim. Our team of planDisney panelists are hEAR to support you in any way we can these next few months.
Dream big and choose magic,
Jennifer
