Hi, UK mum here planning on ordering some groceries for our arrival day. Which grocery service would you recommend for UK guests please? Having looked at Amazon it seems there is a problem with us not having US prime. Many thanks in advance. Louise

    Hello Louise,

From one UK Mum to another, welcome back to planDisney!  It's supercalifragilisticexpialidocious to see you back here once again.

Us Mums really do think of everything for the needs of our families, don't we!  Just like you, I always take into consideration how much my family enjoys eating, snacking, and keeping hydrated during our jolly holidays at Walt Disney World Resort.  After all, dining our way around Disney property is one of our most favourite things to do!

However, in my own experience, I've discovered that having a small grocery delivery direct to my Disney Resorts Collection hotel has been an absolute gem in keeping hunger at bay in between mealtimes, at breakfast, and even at bedtime too.  Plus, it goes without saying that it's also super budget-friendly as well!

Louise, I'm more than happy to share that I've enjoyed previous good service from the Garden Grocer which is an Orlando-based grocery delivery service.  Any ordered goods from the Garden Grocer will be delivered to Bell Services at your Disney Resorts Collection hotel, where you'll be welcome to collect them in person.  Or if you so wish, and for a small fee, Cast Members from Bell Services will deliver at a convenient time when you are back in your Resort room

Typically, my grocery order consists of -

     - Plenty of bottled water
     - Breakfast foods
     - Milk
     - Fruit
     - Cans of soft drinks
     - Crisps/nuts/snacks
     - American-style sweet treats or cakes!

It may also be useful to know that each Disney Resorts Collection hotel benefits from a shop that stocks a limited selection of everyday grocery items such as bread, milk, cereals, and snacks, plus nappies (diapers), and other household sundries.

My top planDisney tip for shopping is that if you can't see what you're looking for, simply ask the nearest Cast Member for their assistance.  In the past, I've enquired about items like Paracetamol (Tylenol), or plasters (Band-aids) which weren't on display but were indeed available to purchase upon request.

Lousie, I hope that I've been able to offer some pixie-dusted insight today.  If you should have any additional questions about your upcoming July summer holiday to the most magical place on earth, then please do pop back to me here at planDisney.

Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
