Hello Joshua, and welcome to planDisney.
Your great question simply jumped right out at me today as our lovely families seem to have several things in common! Firstly, we all visit our pal Mickey Mouse from over here in the United Kingdom, and secondly, just like you, both my son and son-in-law are proud serving members of His Majesty's Armed Forces. And lastly, prior to the global pandemic, my daughter flew with British Airways as Cabin Crew; so with all these similarities in mind, I'd say that it proves it's truly
"a small world after all".It's so fun to hear that you and your darling wife will be visiting
Orlando and Walt Disney World Resort in just a few short days' time on January 3rd. What a magical trip for you both to look forward to so early in the new year! And Joshua, the power of magic is truly calling each Guest who visits Walt Disney World Resort before March 31st, 2023 as Mickey and Minnie continue to celebrate the
50th Anniversary with the "Most Magical Celebration on Earth".
I'm happy to share that when Guests like you and I from the United Kingdom wish to purchase Magic Tickets from the
UK-based Walt Disney Travel Company website, we are at present able to purchase from either
7 or 14-day Magic Ticket options.
Magic Tickets are deemed all-inclusive as they provide Guests with unlimited entrance into all 4 Disney Theme Parks, Disney Water Parks, and much more besides. In addition, Joshua I'm delighted to say that as a serving member of HM Forces, you may indeed be eligible to apply any currently available discounts via the
Blue Light Card or Defence Discount Service.I understand this may not be the news you were wishing to hear. However, I do have an alternative suggestion for you! Upon your safe arrival in the United States of America, simply go online and access
www.DisneyWorld.Disney.go.com and head to
Theme Park Tickets in the drop-down menu where you'll be welcome to purchase a 1 Day Standard Theme Park Ticket.
Prior to making any
Disney Theme Park Ticket purchases, I would highly encourage you to first check for up-to-the-magical-minute Theme Park availability via the online calendar. For your added information, as I type, the Magic Kingdom Park does appear to be full on January 3rd, 2023.
Once purchased, any Disney Theme Park Tickets should always be linked to a
My Disney Experience account. After tickets are successfully linked, Guests are able to go ahead and make those all-important
Disney Park Pass reservations for their intended Disney days.
Joshua, I sincerely hope I've been able to offer a little pixie-dusted guidance and insight for you today. All that now remains is for me to wish you and your dear wife a truly enchanting time when you visit the magical realms of Walt Disney World Resort.
Have a great Disney day ~
Jane
