Hello from UK, I’m planning my 50th birthday at WDW Oct 2022. My husband is very tall (6ft5in) and my daughter. (5ft10in) Can you recommend a Disney hotel with three beds in the room?

    Hello Wendy,

As the current UK planDisney Panelist, it truly is a pleasure for me to welcome you back to our pixie-dusted spot.

Oh boy!  I can't think of anywhere better to celebrate your dear husband's 50th birthday, than within the magic of Walt Disney World Resort.  Plus, during October 2022 your birthday boy will be in such great company as Mickey will still be celebrating the 18-month long World's Most Magical Celebration for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort that begins on October 1st, 2021.

Choosing the right Disney Resorts Collection hotel to best suit your family's comfort and needs is very important indeed.  After all, a good night's sleep is essential for being Happy and not Grumpy!

On your behalf, Wendy, I've undertaken a little research to enable me to provide some suggestions for accommodation with 3 beds suitable for your family's particular needs.

Here just for you are my best hotel selections from the Disney Resorts Collection for accommodation with 3 full, or adult-sized beds -

     - The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort: These delightfully rustic cabins can accommodate up to 6 Guests sleeping in a separate bedroom with 1 x queen-sized bed and a full-sized bunk bed, plus 1 x pull-out double sofa in the lounge area.

     - Family Suite at Disney's Art of Animation Resort: This super fun Resort room accommodates up to 6 Guests with 1 x queen-sized bed in a separate bedroom, plus 1 x pull-out double-sized sofa, and 1 x double-sized table-bed in the living area.

     - 1-bedroom villas within the Deluxe Villa - Disney Resorts Collection such as Disney's Old Key West Resort where 5 Guests can be accommodated in I x king-sized bed, 1 x queen-sized sleep sofa, and 1 x twin-sized sleeper chair.

Another alternative would be to make reservations for 2 x Disney Resorts Collection hotel rooms, and at the time of booking, make a request for them to be noted as connecting rooms.  However, it is always worth bearing in mind that although Cast Members will do their very best to honor any requests made at Walt Disney World Resort, they can never be guaranteed.

Wendy, I hope that I've been able to provide you with a little magical insight today.  If you should have any further enquiries, then please don't hesitate to pop back to planDisney to ask me another question.  I'm always happy to help wherever possible.

Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
