Hi, Nicola! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
As the mom of a child with special needs, one of the things that I love the most about
Walt Disney World Resort is the way that they always go above and beyond to make the magic accessible to everyone. I also really appreciate the way that Walt Disney World Resort's
services for Guests with disabilities are always evolving to better meet the Guests' needs.
Recently, an option was added to the Disability Access Service (DAS) program to be able to pre-register for DAS via a live video chat with a Cast Member. At this time, the pre-registration service is only available for Guests from the United States and Canada. Since the ability to select two DAS Advance experiences is part of this pre-registration process, it is unfortunately only available to American and Canadian Guests as well.
The good news is that all Guests, regardless of where they are from, still have the option to register for DAS in person once they arrive at a Walt Disney World theme park, and it's a quick and easy process. The first time you enter a theme park during your visit, head straight to the front entrance
Guest Relations location. There you can discuss your specific needs with a Cast Member, and if it is determined that DAS is a good fit for you, they can quickly get you registered. You can make your first DAS return time right then and there, and each time you redeem a return time, you can then make another.
I think you'll find that this process allows you to experience many
attractions even without the option to book two experiences in advance. Don't forget that if you choose to purchase the
Disney Genie+ service, you can use this service along with your DAS return times. This is a great way to maximize the magic during your theme park visit!
Nicola, if you have any additional questions as you get ready for your trip, please visit us again. See ya real soon!
