Welcome, Deborah! I am super excited that you've come to visit
planDisney and absolutely thrilled for you that you'll be in
Walt Disney World VERY soon!
The best advice that I can give you regarding travel requirements into the United States is that you need to be diligent about checking leading up to your trip. As I'm sure they do in Scotland, things here in the United States tend to change very quickly when it comes to our entry requirements. The UK government website is kept up to date, so your best bet is to begin there, and bookmark the page to check back daily. Keep an eye as well on the CDC website.
I can tell you that as of this moment, you will need proof of vaccination and a negative COVID test. As of today, that test has to be within one day of your trip, based on current CDC guidelines. Please do watch this requirement very specifically, as it changes often. I highly recommend that you also have confirmation from your doctor that you had the virus in November, and you have recovered. This may be required due to your recent illness.
Florida has no necessary quarantine, so once you're here, you can finally relax a bit about requirements. Things at Walt Disney World may look a little bit different than you remember, but you'll still be able to enjoy
incredible dining experiences,
fun character interactions, and some of the most
beloved attractions. Enjoy the
50th Anniversary Celebration, and don't forget to brush up on the new
Disney Genie service.
Welcome back, Deborah! Have an absolute blast!
