We are from the UK and enjoy a cup of tea. Are kettles available as well as coffee machines in the Beach Club resort rooms to be able to make a cup of tea?

    Welcome to planDisney, Emma!

As Mrs. Potts once said, “I have found that most troubles seem less troubling after a bracing cup of tea.” I think most of us Brits would heartily agree!

How exciting that you'll be staying at Disney's Beach Club Resort. There are many reasons why this is one of my favorite resorts. One of them is the location! You are just a short walk from International Gateway at EPCOT. You can also easily access the Disney Skyliner and Disney's BoardWalk. There are also so many wonderful food options available. Ale & Compass Restaurant is a must, Yachtsman Steakhouse is sublime, and how can you not love Beaches & Cream Soda Shop? And of course, you can always eat at one of the many amazing places around World Showcase in EPCOT. But maybe my favorite feature of this resort is Stormalong Bay. It's like having a mini water park attached to your hotel. As we say in Liverpool, you're going to have a "proper boss" time, Emma.

Each standard room at your hotel has the following amenities: a TV, small refrigerator, hair dryer, in room safe, iron and ironing board, wireless internet connection, weekday newspaper delivery, and a private balcony or patio. But that's not all!

I can tell you that Disney's Beach Club Resort rooms also have a Cuisineart Single-Serve machine, along with coffee and tea. The machine has the ability to produce hot water to make tea. However, as a fellow Brit who loves a "cuppa," I must mention that the water isn't quite boiling. Therefore, it doesn't brew the tea as well as using a kettle. For some reason, kettles aren't as common in America as they are in the UK. I even have some friends over here who, when they're making a cup of tea, heat up their water in the microwave! THE MICROWAVE!!! Absolutely preposterous!!! They’re mad, bonkers, completely off their head.

    Ok... Rant over.

So you'll be able to enjoy a cup of tea in your room, Emma. It probably just won't be up to the same standard as back home. If you would like to enjoy some tea when you're out and about, you can always stop by one of the Joffrey's Coffee & Tea Company locations in the parks or at Disney Springs.

I hope that's helpful, Emma. I trust you'll have a magical time! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney.
