Hi Mark!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
The UK Blue Badge scheme was introduced to help you park closer to your destination, either as a passenger or a driver. There are no current arrangements for the Blue Badge to be used outside the European Union, and visitors must obtain a state of Florida temporary disabled person parking permit. Full details can be found on the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles website, under Disabled Person Parking Permits for Florida Visitors. You will need to present some documentation, including your current Blue Badge, a valid form of ID (UK Driving Licence or Passport) and a certified Doctor's letter, in person or by mail at a motor vehicle service center.
For parking at Walt Disney World, you will find designated parking areas throughout the Resort, and you will be required to display the above disability parking permit, and standard parking rates will apply. At this time, there is no additional disability parking permit required especially for
Walt Disney World.
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World.
