Hi Ben, welcome to planDisney!
Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is literally just a dream away! I understand you're asking about picking up your physical tickets, but let's go through your other must-do items first. I'm wishing on a star that you already have your tickets
linked in
My Disney Experience and
theme park reservations for each park day. This can be done with a confirmation number before you have physical tickets in hand. The
Theme Park Availability Calendar shows park dates are filling up fast as many families are answering magic's call during spring break.
In addition to valid admission and theme park reservations, you need one of the following
methods of park entry: MagicMobile pass, MagicBand, and/or admission card. I confirmed with a Cast Member that the credit card holder must be present with the credit card used for the ticket purchase and Photo ID in order to pick up admission cards at the ticket windows outside the theme parks, so let's focus on the other two options.
Through the
My Disney Experience mobile app,
Disney MagicMobile service lets Guests with eligible iPhones, Apple Watches, or Google Pay enabled Android phones download a MagicMobile pass for park entry. To get started, click the three small lines at the bottom right of the app's home screen and then "Disney MagicMobile." Next click "Set Up Your Pass" and select from a variety of pass styles, including several 50th Anniversary Celebration designs. If your wife and daughter have their own My Disney Experience accounts, they should create their own MagicMobile passes on their devices. MagicMobile passes make the most sense and cents if you have the technology to support them.
MagicBands can be purchased at retail locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort and must be
linked to your account before use. Options for purchase outside of the theme parks include
Disney Resorts Collection hotel gift shops and
Disney Pin Traders at Disney Springs. If it's down to the wire, Disney's Contemporary Resort is a 10-minute walk from the entrance to Magic Kingdom park. Take the elevator or escalator up to the 4th floor to either the
Bayview Gifts or Fantasia shop.
Your Walt Disney World Resort adventure has nearly begun, Ben. I recommend taking a deep, cleansing breath once you're in sight of Cinderella Castle. You are the magic!
With faith, trust, and pixie dust,
Jennifer
