Hi Cat and
bienvenue to
Disneyland Paris.
Oh my goodness me, you're going to be arriving at Disneyland Paris later this week - it doesn't get much more exciting than that!
Has the packing commenced yet? Here are my must-have items when visiting during the summer:-
Sun cream
Sun hats and sunglasses
A portable fan
Ponchos/umbrella
On-the-go squash (to add to water)
Top Tip - Did you know that you can search for all drinking water fountains on the map feature of the
Disneyland Paris app? My daughter does not like fizzy drinks at all so we always fill her drink cup at these and then add on-the-go squash to it. Saves a fortune constantly buying bottles of water!
Going back to your question, a blue badge (Parking Card for Disabled People) is one of the valid proof of disability documents accepted for a Priority Card, for guests visiting from the United Kingdom.
I know that you'll be arriving later this week but, for future reference, you can
Request a Priority Card up to 1 month in advance of your visit via the Disneyland Paris website.
Just remember that in order to obtain your Priority Card, on the first day of your visit, you must present an original copy of a valid proof of disability, from the documents listed for your country.
I would definitely recommend taking a look at the
Accessibility at Disneyland Paris section of the website, prior to your arrival, as it contains lots of really useful information for guests with disabilities and specific needs. There are even accessibility guides and maps available to download, which will be a real help for planning your days.
I hope that this information has been of help, Cat. Do feel free to re-visit us, here at planDisney, if we can be of any last-minute help, before you arrive.
Ps: Be sure to catch the
Disney Music Festival before it ends on 7 September. My planDisney pal, Matt, says it's a lot of fun.
Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
Emma
