Can I have an uber driver deliver our luggage from the airport to the bell service at Fort Wilderness?

Hey Howdy Hey, Heather! Welcome to planDisney!

Before you know it, you'll be arriving at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort to embark on the rootin' tootinest adventure at the Most Magical Place on Earth. I know you must be getting so excited! With the seemingly endless list of Resort activities, oh-so-fun and delicious dining options and location within a short, scenic boat ride of Magic Kingdom, Fort Wilderness is the perfect home away from home right in the middle of the magic. Now, let's chat about getting your things there!

If you plan to use a rideshare service, such as Uber, to get from the airport to Fort Wilderness, you can absolutely drop your luggage off at Bell Services, and they will store it for you until your Cabin is ready or until you're done playing in the parks. However, as the Guest of the Resort, you will have to be the one who drops off your luggage, provides Bell Services with your name, and receives the claim ticket to pick up your luggage or have it delivered to your Cabin. In fact, many Disney Resort Hotels will not even allow rideshare vehicles into the Resort's parking lot entrance unless they are picking up or dropping off a Guest of that Resort.

If you're worried about your luggage fitting in your rideshare vehicle, I recommend looking into other transportation options, such as Mears Connect Orlando Airport Shuttle. You will arrive at Fort Wilderness in a large luxury bus, and as a chronic over-packer, I love knowing that my several suitcases will fit under the bus. If you're looking to get to the parks as soon as possible (and who isn't?!), I recommend taking a rideshare service from the airport to Fort Wilderness, leaving your luggage with Bell Services and hopping the complimentary Disney Resort transportation to a park. You'll get there lickety-split!

I hope this helps, Heather, and I hope you have the most magical and memorable time! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have along the way.

You've got a friend in me,

    Mandy
