Typically is the water parks open the second week in September. Also how warm is it to get in the water at the waterparks? We were planning on going Aug. 27th but we might have to change it to Sept. 10th. What are ya'lls thoughts. Thanks for the help!!

    Hi Chelsea,

No worries about the warmth of Florida weather in September. It's still very hot and humid! The average daily high is around 90.

Both, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, are usually open for the entire month. When we were at the parks in mid-October, I took a picture of the water temperature sign at Typhoon Lagoon. It shows:

    Typhoon Lagoon 78 degrees
    Ketchakiddie Creek 91 degrees
    Castaway Creek 79 degrees

I'll note that this was in the early morning after a couple days with lots of rain! Typically, the water is heated to at least 80 degrees.
