    When do they typically reveal the shoes and medals for the Princess 1/2 @Disney World in Feb? First time running - just me and my daughter (checking it off my bucket list).

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    It's always so much fun to see the new medals and other specialty items for race weekends!  I love that you and your daughter are doing this together.  I think the Princess Half Marathon is the perfect choice for mother/daughter racing and bonding.

    Generally, medals are revealed about three or four months in advance of the race. The shoes are not usually revealed until much closer to the event.  There is never a guarantee that a new shoe will be released for each event, but it has been the trend recently for there to be.

    Be sure to follow runDisney on Facebook and Twitter.  They usually reveal all of the fun stuff on these social media channels first. You should also watch the Disney Parks Blog for announcements.
