Hi Patricia, and welcome to planDisney!
The
Disability Access Service (DAS) is excellent for those eligible guests that need that accommodation. You want to ensure that all plans are in place before you visit
Walt Disney World Resort, and I understand that completely.
My husband has had to utilize the DAS services occasionally, and I can tell you the wait times to speak with a cast member via the live video chat can vary. On one occasion, the process took about two hours, but on another occasion, we were prepared to wait, and that time it was little to no waiting. My recommendation would be to
pre-register virtually with a Cast Member via live video chat when they first open. They are available from 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM Eastern Time, so getting on early could be an advantage. This idea is not foolproof, but it is worth a try.
If you have any additional questions, please remember we are here If you need anything.
Have a magical experience!
