    What are the typical specials that the resort runs regularly? We stayed at resort in 2013 when the special was free dining~~ which was a great deal!!! We are looking to go again in Jan, but hesitant to book, because we are wanting to know the Oct deals!

    Walt Disney World Special Offers are amazing!  We also love to catch them when we can.

    If you Google the phrase "historical Disney discounts", you will find some great charts and information on past discounts -- what they included and when they were offered.  (my favorite source is from Mousesavers.com)

    There is no published schedule for when the offers will come out, but you can get a general idea by looking at the historical charts.  

    In the past, I have made a reservation and then watched for discounts.  If a discount became available that applied to my trip, they would let me add that to my reservation to get a discount.  (keep in mind that each discount is available for a limited number of rooms at each resort, so there is not guarantee)
