What are the typical hours of the water parks, specifically Blizzard Beach, in late September, and do you need a full day to fully enjoy them? Planning out each of our days, and wondering if it is worth going, and if so if I should plan on a full day.

Hi Megan!  Spending a day at one of the Disney Water Parks is always fun, and for my family is a must-do on each Walt Disney World vacation.  During your vacation at the end of September, both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon will be open daily from 10 am - 5 pm. These hours are of course, subject to change, so be sure to check your Times Guide when you arrive.

My family likes to be at the entrance of the Water Park in time for park opening.  This ensures that we get enough beach chairs, and in the location of our choice.  We usually stay until about 3 pm, but really it's up to each family how much time they need or want to spend.  There is certainly plenty to keep everyone occupied, and there are several locations for purchasing food and drinks, so spending a full day is relatively easy.

Megan, I hope this information is helpful to you in planning your vacation.  Please let me know if you have any other questions I can help you with.  Have a magical day!
