Typhoon Park: my DD is 2. Can we go together on the kids' slides in Ketchakiddee Creek? Can she go on the same tube as me for Castaway Creek or Keelhaul Falls ? If the park doesn't have her size in lifejackets can she still go on the slides? Thank you!

    Hi Joanne!

Typhoon Lagoon is my favorite water park at Walt Disney World!  We have been taking our children since they were about 5 months old.  In Ketchakiddee Creek, she must be able to go down the slides by herself.  There are a few small slides in the sprayer area that are short.  When my son was younger, I would be at the top with him (it's about 4 or 5 stairs) and Daddy would be at the bottom to catch him.  There is a longer double slide, but she must go by herself on these as well.  These slides are very slow.  My son usually ends up scootching himself down them.  There is a toddler tube ride that she must go on by herself as well.  It is a short river ride that you can see her on the entire time.  If you think she won't sit by herself the entire time, better skip this one until she's a little older.  You can share tubes in Castaway Creek.  There are also toddler tubes that are smaller and have a solid bottom so she can't fall through.  She cannot sit in your lap on Keelhaul Falls, she must be able to sit in her own tube.  Everyone can ride together on Gang Plank Falls.  She can sit in your lap for this one, but you will need a free hand to hold onto the sides.

    Surf's up!
