    when is typhoon going to open??????

    As they sometimes loudly yell at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, "Humunga Kowabunga Betsy!"

    Thanks for bringing planDisney such a splashtastic question Betsy!  Of the 2 Disney Water Parks, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is my most favourite, and that's because I have so, so many fond memories of visiting there as a teenager with my own parents.  My dEAR Dad used to love gently drifting around Castaway Creek, and my lovely Mum would enjoy relaxing with a huge ice-cream offering from Happy Landings Ice Cream - happy days indeed!

    Betsy, I sure wish that I did have some news to share with you about a possible reopening date for Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  At this time, all I'm able to say is that for any upcoming Disney news or announcements you should aim to keep a keen Ear on the Disney Parks Blog.

    I understand that this maybe wasn't the news you were hoping to hEAR.  However, don't forget you can still enjoy some snow-filled fun at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park!

    And now all that remains is for me to wish you a truly EARidescent time during your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World Resort beginning in a few days time on November 20th!
