    At Typhoon Lagoon can you wear aqua socks/water shoes on the rides?

    Hello Tara!

    My son and I love having water fun at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park! We have so many incredible memories of floating on the Lazy River, zooming down the waterslides, and enjoying the waves in the Surf Pool.

    According to my experiences at Typhoon Lagoon, you can wear aqua socks or water shoes on most water rides and in the Lazy River. You will have to take your water shoes off for some of the bigger water slides and either leave them at the bottom of the water slide or hold them as you go down the water slide. The Cast Members will alert you if water shoes need to be taken off on a particular water ride. I always recommend wearing some type of water shoes at Typhoon Lagoon because the pavement can get quite hot in the Florida sun.
