At Typhoon Lagoon there is a place called Hammer Head Fred's where you can snorkel underwater. My question is how much is the experience? all 4 of my kids and me would love to do it when we go.

Hello Chris!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I happen to love Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park.  It is so much fun!  I think you will be thrilled to know that there is a shark reef at the waiter park that you can snorkel in.  The best part is that this experience is included with your water park admission.  There is a drop off of ten feet so you will need to be able to float on your own or with a life jacket across the reef.  Children under the age of 10 will also need to be accompanied by an adult.  You'll be able to snorkel right along side of leopard and bonnethead sharks, sting rays, and blue tang fish that look straight out of the movie Finding Nemo.  For more information, you can click over to the shark reef page here.

This experience will surely put a smile on your kids faces, I hope you are so excited.  If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
