    Is Typhoon Lagoon opened the week after Christmas and beginning of January?

    Hello Juanita! Oh, how I would love to be at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park during this current heat wave! A water park is certainly a great way to keep cool.  

    Water Parks at the Walt Disney World Resort are typically open year-round, weather permitting unless one is closed for a refurbishment. Since there are two water parks on the property, Disney does its best to keep at least one operating.

    Unfortunately, we are not able to provide an exact answer to your question at this time as park hours have not yet been posted for the timeframe you are inquiring about.  You may want to keep an eye on the interactive Hours and Events Calendar for future updates or contact us again in another month or so.
