Hi there. I can see that Typhoon Lagoon is now open, but when I try to book a reservation for my family of four (I already have park tickets), Typoon Lagoon doesn’t show up as an option. How do I make the booking? Thanks

Hey there, hi there, Karen! Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so happy to see you here with another great holiday planning question. I love chatting Disney with my pals, pal!

Eek! In just a couple of weeks, you will be arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth, ready to begin your magical adventure. How exciting! I am thrilled to hear that you and your family are planning to have a splashin' good time at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. My family and I recently enjoyed an oh-so-fun day at Typhoon Lagoon, and it was the perfect combination of a relaxing pool day and a fun Disney day. In the Florida summer heat, it's the perfect way to stay cool while having a blast together. I'm so excited for you, Karen, and I'm more than happy to answer your question today.

I think you will be happy to hear that your holiday planning is right on track. Theme Park Pass reservations are not required for Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. If you already have tickets, just show up and get ready for the BEST. DAY. EVER!

If you plan on taking the complimentary Disney transportation to and from Typhoon Lagoon, hop a bus from your Disney Resorts Collection Hotel to Disney Springs and then take the bus to Typhoon Lagoon. I recommend packing a park bag with dry clothes for your ride back to Disney Springs and your Resort Hotel. I also recommend wearing water shoes throughout the day. I walked around the water park barefoot all day, and by the end of the day, my feet were starting to get a little tender. Who can afford to have sore feet on a Disney vacation?!

One more Typhoon Lagoon tip! I highly recommend renting a Beachcomber Shack or a Typhoon Lagoon Umbrella to have a home base in which to kick your feet up in the shade in between the fun and splashing around the water park. We really enjoyed the shade, privacy, comfy seating and relaxation of our Beachcomber Shack, and I know you will, too! To book one, just call a Cast Member with Tours and Recreation or book on a first-come, first-served basis at Singapore Sal's once you arrive at the water park. Enjoy!

I hope this was helpful, Karen, and I hope you and your family have the most magical and memorable upcoming summer holiday! Have the best time and feel free to stop by with any questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon,

    Mandy
