Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park!
Dory will have to wait just a little bit longer before she can keep swimming at Typhoon Lagoon. It is temporarily unavailable from February 15, 2026 through May 11, 2026, and will reopen on May 12, 2026. Both Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park will remain open for the summer.
Lynda, your arrival date of April 1 (no fooling!) will not find Typhoon Lagoon open, but Blizzard Beach will be open from 10am-5pm each day that first week of April! If you are brave enough, you can plunge down Summit Plummet! Or if you have what it really takes, you’ll take on the Sand Pail Sundae at
I.C. Expeditions, watch out for brain freeze!
This summer is a great time to enjoy both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach with the
Free Water Park benefit on your day of check-in that runs from May 26 to September 8, 2026, for Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel! This benefit is only on the day of check-in and can't be transferred to a different day.
