We are going to Typhoon lagoon one day and would love to sit in a shady spot without having to pay for the premium cabana's or chairs. Where are the shady spots that you would recommend for us to look for when we enter the water park?

    Surf's up, Stacey!

Disney's Typhoon Lagoon is practically our second home in the summer.  We have several areas that are our "go-to" spots to settle in for the day.  Our favorite shady (and free!) spot is to the left of the Surf Pool.  Once you head over the bridge at the entrance, take a left and follow the path up and around.  You'll see a drink and snack shack.  Behind that is a very shady area with lots of trees and chairs.  You can also get a great view of the park from there.  Another shady area is near Shark Reef.  There is a convenient entrance to Castaway Creek, the lazy river in the park, as well as dining options nearby.  You can also find chairs with umbrella's scattered around the park.  All open chairs are first come first serve.  If you can't find an ideal spot at first, keep going.  There are lots of hidden areas all around.

    Have a magical day!
