Going to Typhoon Lagoon in June. Staying off property during trip to TL, but checking in to Disney resort the next day. We are also APs. We will have Magic Bands. Will we have to pay for our towels since we will technically be off property?

Splish, splash, Dana! Watch out for that beached tugboat! You will love Typhoon Lagoon’s theming and all the water fun you can have! I’m glad to hear you are sneaking in an extra park day before your check-in. I love packing more fun into my trips!

You have two options when it comes to towels at both Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Blizzard Beach. All park guests, whether staying on property or not, are welcome to bring their own towels (if you have room in your backpack) or rent them for $2.00 each. You can find rental locations at High N' Dry Rentals or Singapore Sal’s in Typhoon Lagoon. You can charge the towels to your MagicBand AFTER you check in to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, but since you are visiting the day before that happens, you will need to bring another form of payment.

Don’t forget plenty of sunscreen, a ballcap or sun hat, and your favorite water shoes. They are super handy for trekking around the park or a bathroom break. Have a warm vacation, and don’t forget to visit the new Miss Adventure Falls, the newest attraction at Typhoon Lagoon! ~ Lindsey P.
