We will be going to Typhoon Lagoon during our vacation. If we put our towels on 3 beach chairs, is that enough to "reserve" them?

Hello Jaynee.  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am excited to see that you are going to visit Disney's Typhoon Lagoon on your Walt Disney World vacation.  It is my favorite water park!

We always take a beach bag and towels with us when head to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon.  We normally lay our towels on our chairs and place our flip flops on top.  We have never had a problem with someone taking our chairs or moving our stuff.  I have left our bag and towels numerous times and don't give it a second thought.  I am sure, on occasion, something gets moved or misplaced but I have not heard or seen it happen.  I don't suggest leaving anything valuable at your chairs.  If you bring valuables or cash with you, I suggest renting a locker.  A small locker is $7.00 a day and a large is $9.00.  You will also be required to leave a refundable $5.00 deposit, just so they know you'll bring back the key.  I personally feel like leaving your towel down is just fine, but of course it is personal preference.

I hope you have a splish splashin' fun time at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon.  If I can help you with anything else, please feel free to let me know.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
