    Are typhoon lagoon and blizzard beach both opened the end of oct 2018 and start of nov 2018? when do they close for winter?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel where as the current British Mum here on the Panel I'm super delighted to offer some pixie dusted assistance to a fellow Guest from the United Kingdom! 
    My family truly looks forward to spending a lazy day or two at either of Disney's splashtastic waters parks during our jolly holidays to Walt Disney World Resort so I can totally relate to you wanting to be aware of any planned refurbishments.  
    It's rather tricky for me to predict the refurbishment schedule so far ahead of time for either Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park or Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, but I can say that at present (as I type) it's possible to see via this handy Park Hours & Calendars link that both water parks are indeed open up until mid-October 2018.  However as everything is always subject to change at Walt Disney World Resort my top tip for you is to regularly keep checking back to view any updated refurbishment schedules which may occur during your Disney holiday.
