Hey, Nicole! A birthday celebration at Typhoon Lagoon sounds absolutely splashtacular! What a fun way to celebrate!
From floating along
Castaway Creek to catching waves in the
Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool, there’s no shortage of birthday-worthy fun. If you want to add a little extra magic, consider renting a
Beachcomber Shack for the day. It gives you a shaded spot to relax, comes with comfy seating, towels, and refillable drink mugs, and it’s a great home base between rides and splashes.
If you're thinking about bringing your own setup, it's good to know that tents aren’t allowed at Typhoon Lagoon. A great alternative is reserving a Beachcomber Shack. These private spaces offer shade, comfy seating, and a convenient home base for your day.
That said, there are also some naturally shaded spots around the water park thanks to the trees, but you’ll need to arrive early to claim one. Those areas tend to go quickly, especially on hot days.
Also, just a heads-up:
balloons aren’t permitted in the water parks. You can bring your own snacks and drinks, as long as they don’t require heating. Just make sure your cooler or backpack fits within the size limit, which is nothing larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. Wheels are fine, but loose or dry ice isn’t allowed. Reusable ice packs are your best bet to keep things cool under that Florida sun.
Nicole, I hope that you and your family have the best birthday celebration at Typhoon Lagoon! Be sure to get a birthday celebration button from a Cast Member while you're on property.
Please stop by again if you need additional help with your stay!
Toodles,
Korliss
