Greetings, Cameron, welcome to planDisney!
Planning is key, and with more than
25 Disney Resort hotels, it’s wise to begin your exploring now. Walt Disney World Resort offers differently-themed accommodations to fit every budget, but all offer convenience and
benefits to enhance a Guest’s stay, and above all, the Guest Rooms are comfortable and offer many amenities.
Cameron, there is a commonality with the construction of the hotels - there is the main building housing front desk, shops, restaurants - some main buildings have Guest Rooms. Then flanking the main building are pods of buildings that offer Guest Rooms, and interspersed throughout the property are landscaped gardens, footpaths, and recreational areas including swimming pools. The differences are the price-points, locations and the theming.
The
Disney Resorts Collection includes Deluxe Villas offering homelike accommodations from studios, to multi-bedroom units with kitchens and common areas, to standard layout Guest Rooms at different price points which Disney refers to as value, moderate, and deluxe. There are uniquely themed resorts offering bungalows, campgrounds and cabins. The theming and location of specific Disney Resort hotels vary, from stately Victorian elegance, to turn of century National Park Lodges, to theming with fads between the '50s and '90s, to resorts with active, wildlife vistas of African savannas, the choice is yours. Beyond that, Walt Disney World Resort offers hotels in their ‘Good Neighbor’ category which are located off-property, nearby.
My advice to you, Cameron, would be to peruse through the list of Disney Resorts Collection hotels, and then keep a close watch over the
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts which present great savings periodically throughout the year.
Lastly, I must tell you about a new immersive adventure with the
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel - voyages are available for booking now!
Best Disney Wishes from a fellow Canadian ~ Jacqueline
